INFORMATION ON HOW TO STORE VACUUM SEALED PACKAGES:
I want to take a minute and mention to any of our customers in case you aren't aware that if you buy something that is vacuum sealed and you need it to last sometime for you, whether its sausage or jerky, you need to make sure if you see the vacuum seal broken to immediately get the product resealed or frozen (check often if you are moving around the sealed package alot). Our fully cooked sausages will last in vacuum in your refrigerator for quite awhile if you need them too, but if the seal is broken and the bag has air in it, then the product will spoil over time depending on what the product is in vacuum. For instance with our Beef Jerky, we have had the vacuum seal hold for months at a time on a bag of Jerky and it was wonderful and fresh when we opened it finally, however if you open the bag and are planning on eating some, then please take the Jerky out of the plastic bag its sealed in and keep it in the refrigerator to keep it fresh in a paper type bag as there are no preservatives in it and it won't keep fresh in the cold even in the plastic vacuum bag, it needs something paper like for the bag. ( we can offer you the bag if needed) Also, if you are storing the Jerky and see a bag is not holding the seal any longer ( check often if you are moving around the sealed package alot) then you need to immediately get the package resealed or put it in the paper bag and in the fridge ( making sure to check product is still ok to use, have to use your judgement/nose). I hope this has helped some with our products!
